"There is no perfect turkey call!   If you have been in woods enough you soon learn that all hens sound and call differently!  Don't get "hung up" on trying to perfect your call to match a tape or show that you have seen or heard.  When a Tom is ready to come in almost any call will work and when he doesn't want to come in not many turkey hunters can convince him with their "super calling"!  Some seasons I will fail on 5-10 turkeys before I get one in for the taking.  My old phrase is when a Tom gets ready to come in you could call him in with a "nickel and a beer can" !  The "Old Deer Hunter"
